A. H. Hardy, MD, is a board-certified radiologist at Penn Highlands Radiology in DuBois. Dr. Hardy specializes in radiology and interventional radiology, which utilizes minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat diseases. Interventional radiology enables physicians to treat patients with less risk, pain and recovery time as compared to traditional open surgery. Dr. Hardy served active duty in the United States Air Force as Chief of Flight Surgery, Allergy and Immunology at Tallil Air Base in Iraq. He also served as a family physician and flight surgeon for the U.S. Air Force at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska.

He has published research on topics including dual-balloon infusion microcatheter for selective drug-eluting bead transarterial chemoembolization, multidisciplinary management of blunt pelvic trauma, Segond fracture after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and esophagogastroduodenoscopy training.
