Financial Assistance Program
Cost and affordability remain major challenges for our patients in accessing healthcare. This barrier applies to primary and specialty services as well as for prescription copays. Medicaid may be available for the neediest individuals and families. Still, many patients earn an income that exceeds the maximum for Medicaid eligibility yet struggle to afford their health care and medications for their treatment.
For patients who qualify, Penn Highlands Healthcare offers two separate programs: a Financial Assistance Program for medical services and a Pharmacy Financial Assistance Program. It is our intention that participation in the program(s) will help ease your concerns so that you can focus on your main priority – a prompt return to good health.
