Drushti Mehta, DO

Drushti Mehta, DO is a Family Medicine Resident Physician at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Dr.Mehta is from Toronto, Canada where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Life Sciences at McMaster University. Her passion for medicine ultimately led her to Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where she earned her medical degree.

Dr.Mehta is drawn to the practice of family medicine for its inherent scope of building long term connections with her patients. She is passionate about serving and ensuring complete wellbeing of her patients. Dr.Mehta has diverse medical interests including preventive and integrative medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, hematology, and emergency medicine.

Dr.Mehta is excited to continue her medical journey at Penn Highlands where she can continue to spark her clinical curiosity, sharpen her clinical skills, advance her clinical knowledge, and most importantly, help serve the Dubois community during residency. She is excited for a career in family medicine with Penn Highlands knowing that there is lifelong learning, memories, and connections she will build with those in her community.

Outside of medicine, she loves reading classics, collecting books, painting, and creative writing. She has also trained in Indo-Jazz dance and loves to dance to Bollywood songs.
