Welcome Suzanne Iorfido, DO
Penn Highlands DuBois welcomes Suzanne Iorfido, DO, to its medical staff, according to John Sutika, president of Penn Highlands DuBois.
Iorfido is a radiologist who specializes in women’s imaging, specifically breast imaging, intervention and the diagnosis of breast cancer.
“We are pleased to have Dr. Iorfido join our medical staff,” said Sutika. “The ability to offer such a high quality of radiology to those in need, particularly when aiding in the diagnosis of breast cancer, is a significant benefit to our patients. Her knowledge, training and compassion will make Dr. Iorfido an excellent addition to our team.”
“Surviving breast cancer begins with early detection,” said Iorfido. “The foundation of that is annual mammography. In our Breast Care Services center, we offer comprehensive breast imaging and interventional services to diagnose breast cancer at its earliest stages. Quality, patient-centered and personalized care is our foremost objective.”
Iorfido earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and biostatistics at Ursinus College in Collegeville. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. She then completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Mich. Iorfido completed her fellowship in women’s imaging at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., with training in body and breast imaging and intervention.
A native of Bucks County, Iorfido currently lives in DuBois with her husband, Dr. Stephen Iorfido. In her free time, she enjoys activities with her dog and traveling.
