Welcome Hannah Economos, DO

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes physician Hannah Economos, DO, to its medical staff.

Dr. Economos joins the team at Penn Highlands Life’s Journey OB/GYN at 123 Hospital Avenue in DuBois. Dr. Economos also joins the faculty at the Penn Highlands Family Medicine Residency Clinics located in DuBois and Brookville.

Dr. Economos is a fellowship-trained specialist in maternal child health, conferring the top level of education and specialization in her field. She offers full-spectrum care in women's health and family medicine, including pediatric care and care for women in all stages of life and health.

Common treatments and procedures include family planning, gynecology, infertility services, maternity services, midwifery care, obstetrics, PA-breast and cervical cancer early detection, pelvic floor dysfunction services, women’s health services, well child care and general family medicine.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Economos practiced at Altoona OB/GYN in Altoona.

Dr. Economos is a graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Altoona. She completed a fellowship in maternal child health at Highland Family Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, N.Y.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
