Welcome Antonowsky Coleman, MD
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes psychiatrist Antonowsky Coleman, MD, to its medical staff.
Dr. Coleman joins the team at the Behavioral Health Inpatient Adult Unit at 1225 Warm Springs Avenue in Huntingdon.
Dr. Coleman specializes in adult psychiatry and has more than two decades of experience treating patients experiencing anxiety, depression and other behavioral health conditions. He is the recipient of the Laughlin Fellowship, awarded by the American College of Psychiatry to the top 15 psychiatry residents in North America.
Common treatments and procedures include ADD, ADHD, adjustment disorders, anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, developmental problems, eating disorders, major depressive disorder and schizophrenia.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Coleman practiced at Mary Starke Harper Geriatric Psychiatry Center in Tuscaloosa, Ala.; Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, Ala.; Hope Pointe Behavioral Health Crisis Care in Tuscaloosa, Ala.; UAB Medical West in Bessemer, Ala.; and Persona Health Services in Birmingham, Ala.
Dr. Coleman graduated from and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Ala.
