Welcome Kristy Stephens, CRNP

Kristy Bowman Stephens, certified registered nurse practitioner, is now seeing patients alongside Dr. Sarvesh Rajan at Penn Highlands Endocrinology in DuBois and St. Marys.

Stephens, who is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, offers care to those suffering from various disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, Hashimoto’s disease and Graves’ disease.

“I am very excited to continue my career at Penn Highlands Healthcare,” said Stephens. “I look forward to helping patients in my new role as a nurse practitioner.”

Stephens earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pennsylvania State University in State College and her master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Stephens comes to PH Endocrinology from the Penn Highlands DuBois Nutrition Wellness Center, where she worked as a certified diabetes educator.

A native of Pittsburgh, Stephens currently resides in Curwensville with her husband, Paul, and their three children- Jackson, Dominic and Kyla. In her spare time, she is involved with her children’s various sports and activities, and she enjoys spending time with her family.
