Alexis Zimmerman, DO, MHSA

Alexis Zimmerman, DO, is a family medicine physician at Penn Highlands Healthcare, providing geriatric care for residents at PH Jefferson Manor. She received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management Systems from Duquesne University. She then proceeded to graduate with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). During medical school she earned her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from LECOM, as well. Dr. Zimmerman completed her residency at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Zimmerman is a native of DuBois and enjoys volunteering by participating in international medical mission work. She has been a member of the Rice Foundation since 2008 and plans to continue this work in the future. In her free time she enjoys being with family and friends, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
