Rahul Patel, DO

Rahul Patel, DO, is from the Edison, New Jersey area. While living in New Jersey he served as a volunteer EMT which began his interest in medicine. He completed a dual admission program for a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He joined Penn Highlands because of their welcoming and open environment, and ability to teach rural Family Medicine. He looks forward to the curriculum flexibility to learn the procedures and skills that interest him. In addition to Family Practice, he is interested in Wound Care, Sports Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.

In his free time he enjoys hiking the many trails around the DuBois area, as well as fishing, biking, kayaking, running outside, weight lifting, trying new cuisines, cooking new foods, and playing video games.
