Christopher Kropiewnicki, MD

Christopher Kropiewnicki, MD is a resident physician in Psychiatry at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Chris was born and raised in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Wilkes University before studying Computational Biology at the University of Kansas for a year. Upon realizing that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine, he moved back to Pennsylvania and got his Master of Biomedical Science degree and Doctorate of Medicine from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton.

In his free time, Chris likes to watch movies, play the bass and guitar, lift weights and spend time with his cat, Jace. Chris chose the Penn Highlands system because he has a passion for mental health in a community setting and he is eager to be a part of the foundational years of an up-and-coming residency program.
