Mitch Kovacs, MD

Mitch Kovacs, MD, is a Family Medicine Resident physician at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Dr. Kovacs grew up in rural Medina, Ohio. He attended St. Bonaventure University earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He then graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Kovacs greatly appreciates the rural setting of DuBois and is excited to practice in this community. He is particularly passionate about treating mental health but also admires the diverse range of topics within family medicine. He enjoys teaching and has been a math tutor for 10 years. His hobbies include hiking, watching Disney Channel Movies with friends, and creating artwork using math.
