St. Marys Pharmacy Relocates to Penn Highlands Elk Campus – Changes Name
St. Marys Pharmacy is relocating from its current location on Railroad Street in St. Marys to the Eye Center Building on the campus of Penn Highlands Elk at 765 Johnsonburg Road in St. Marys. When the pharmacy opens at the new location it will be rebranded as Penn Highlands Community Pharmacy – St. Marys. It is important to note that the Eye Center will remain in its current location offering the same expert care.
“Relocating the retail pharmacy closer to the hospital will help enhance patient care and improve medication management,” said Julie Peer, President of Penn Highlands Elk and Penn Highlands Brookville. “Patients will enjoy the ease of having their prescriptions filled onsite upon discharge or leaving their physician offices. In addition, members of the community will also enjoy the convenient drive-thru service, which means there will be no need to leave their vehicle to pick up their medications."
In addition to patient convenience, the move will be beneficial for all of the pharmacy’s customers throughout the region by offering:
- Ease of filling or refilling prescriptions
- Drive-thru service
- Free parking
Penn Highlands Community Pharmacy – St. Marys will continue to provide all of the services people in the region rely on from the retail pharmacy including:
- Open seven days a week
- Free delivery service
- Easy refill request by phone and online
- Bubble pack medication options
- Immunizations and vaccinations for the flu, shingles, pneumonia and travel
- Pharmacists consultation and review
- Over-the-counter medications
- Gifts and snacks
The move is expected to occur this December.
