Penn Highlands McKinley Health Center Creates Butterfly Garden

Daniel Maines, an Occupational Therapist at Penn Highlands McKinley Health Center at Laurelbrooke Landing, planted a peaceful Butterfly Garden for residents to enjoy while working in the center’s therapy gym. While the garden is bringing joy to the residents, the habitat was planted in good faith to help restore the monarch butterfly population that has been quickly diminishing around the globe.
