Girls Night Out Altoona, Inc Supports TRHN

Girls Night Out Altoona, Inc, a volunteer group that raises money to support breast cancer awareness and help local breast cancer survivors, made a donation of $44,000.00 to the Tyrone Regional Health Network Foundation with funds to be directed to Tyrone Regional’s Breast Cancer & Women’s Health Institute’s (BCWHI) Breast Cancer Voucher Program. Funds donated were raised through Girls Night Out Altoona, Inc’s signature event held in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Breast Cancer Voucher Program provides support to patients of BCWHI with breast cancer who are uninsured or underinsured to help ease financial pressures.

Girls Night Out Altoona, Inc. has supported Tyrone Regional’s Breast Cancer Voucher Program since 2012.

To date – Girls Night Out Altoona, Inc. has raised and donated a total of $867,000.00 to area organizations to benefit breast cancer survivors throughout the area.
