Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Kristen Cunic to its medical staff.

Kristen joins the team at Penn Highlands Endocrinology, located at 1290 Chess Street, Suite 102, in Monongahela.

Kristen is a highly experienced nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology, which is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the network of glands that produce and release hormones. Kristen is here to help patients who are managing an endocrine disorder stay on the right track.

Common treatments and procedures include adrenal gland disorders, diabetic conditions, diabetic management, hormone production disorders, menopause, metabolism issues, osteoporosis, pituitary gland disorders and thyroid problems.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Kristen practiced at Community Care Network in Belle Vernon, Mon-Vale Oncology in Monongahela, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh and UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Kristen earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
