Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. to Host Mexi Taco Food Booth

Are you craving a tasty trip south of the border? If you want authentic Mexican food and wish to support Monongahela Valley Hospital, the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. is sponsoring a food booth featuring the entrees of Mexi Taco of Charleroi. The event will be held Friday, June 18, beginning at 11 a.m. in the hospital's outdoor Central Plaza.

Staff from Mexi Taco will sell burritos, hard tacos and Mexi-nachos with chicken and beef protein options. Assorted toppings will be available. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary which helps to support MVH programs. Mexi Taco requires cash only.

"In May, we held our first food booth since the pandemic forced us to suspend service and items sold out in an hour," said Auxiliary President Ruth Antonelli. "Hospital employees have been asking us to bring in different food vendors so we thought we would kick-off the summer season with Mexi Taco, which is a Valley favorite."

Martha Durinsky and Arlene Haney, from the Auxiliary's Ways and Means Committee, are busy working on dates to host additional food vendors. For more information, contact the hospital's Gift Shop at 724-258-1167.
