Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. to Host Gourmet Cookie Sale

Get your cookie jars ready, the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc. is sponsoring a cookie sale on Friday, May 21, beginning at 9 a.m. Lori's Gourmet Cookies will be back by popular demand in the main lobby of Monongahela Valley Hospital with many varieties of cookies ranging from chocolate chip to miniature lady locks and brownies. The baked goods will be packaged by the half dozen so you can try an assortment. The last time that owner/baker Lori Willis visited the hospital, her cookies sold out in 90 minutes. The Washington County resident will also have a limited quantity of cupcakes and four- and six-inch cakes available.

"We are delighted to mark our return to active fundraising with this gourmet cookie sale," said Martha Durinsky, chairwoman of the Auxiliary's Ways and Means Committee.

Proceeds from the sale benefit patient care at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
