Penn Highlands Mon Valley May Innovations in Medicine Programming
Innovations in Medicine, the community programming that Penn Highlands Mon Valley offers to residents of the region, continues in May.
Clarence Lin, MD, a board-certified surgeon who uses advanced surgical techniques to treat hernias of the abdomen and groin as well as gallbladder and gastrointestinal diseases will be the presenter on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Center on the campus of Penn Highlands Mon Valley. He will discuss surgical care of the abdominal wall and groin hernias.
With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Lin is dedicated to helping his patients reduce downtime in recovery, minimize post-operative pain and return to work sooner — all without the need for narcotic pain medication.
Dr. Lin received his Medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in New York, NY and completed his residency in General Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. He completed a fellowship in General Surgery at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, RI.
