At Penn Highlands Healthcare, the safety of our patients, employees, and community is, and always will be, our highest priority. In order to keep patients and staff safe, Penn Highlands Huntingdon will not allow access to the hospital’s property for viewing of the July 3 community fireworks display. “We know this has been a popular viewing location in the past,” said Marlene Pierce, Director of Quality Improvement at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. “Our most important responsibility is to keep things safe for our patients and staff.” Patients and any designated support persons will remain able to access the hospital.
