Welcome Rasa Vaicenas, PA-C

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified physician assistant Rasa Vaicenas, PA-C, to its medical staff.

Rasa joins the teams at the Penn Highlands Internal Medicine at 600 North Penn Street in Connellsville, 14 Morewood Street in Mount Pleasant and 234 West Main Street in Uniontown.

Rasa provides preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect adults. Along with the rest of the team, she treats a broad and comprehensive spectrum of illnesses and chronic conditions.

Common treatments and procedures include acute diagnosis/care, annual/sports physicals, asthma care, chronic diagnosis/care, diabetes care, disease screenings, health maintenance, hypertension/high blood pressure care, immunizations, management of multiple conditions, preventive care and screenings and primary care.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Rasa gained clinical experience at Beal Counseling in Somerset; AHN Orthopedic Specialists in Monroeville; Latrobe Excela Hospital in Latrobe; Butler Health System in Valencia; Brandon M. Lingenfelter DO Ob/Gyn in Princeton, W.Va.; WVU Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, W.Va.; Westmoreland Excela Hospital in Greensburg; and Pediatric Associates of Westmoreland in Greensburg.

Rasa earned her Master of Physician Assistant Science and Bachelor of Science in Health Science at Saint Francis University in Loretto.
