Welcome, Rachael Finland, CRNP

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes Rachael Finland, certified registered nurse practitioner, to its medical staff.

Finland joins the team at Penn Highlands Internal Medicine, located at 100 Hospital Avenue, Suite 204, in DuBois.

Finland specializes in medication management and assists patients in taking the right prescriptions at the right time. She also promotes healthy lifestyles by assisting patients who have difficulties obtaining the medication they need.

Common treatments and procedures include wellness exams, vaccinations, management of chronic illnesses, treatment of acute illnesses, minor skin biopsies/excisions, routine GYN exams and medication compliance assistance.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands Internal Medicine, Finland practiced in the intensive care unit, post-anesthesia care unit, critical care unit and emergency department at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois. She has also practiced at Veterans Affairs in Altoona.

Finland earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Penn. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
