Welcome, Priya Mahajan, MD

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes board-eligible psychiatrist Priya Mahajan, MD, to its medical staff.

Mahajan joins the teams at Penn Highlands Behavioral Health Services, located at 635 Maple Avenue in DuBois, and at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor, located at 417 Route 28 in Brookville.

Mahajan specializes in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. She provides patients throughout the region with experienced behavioral and mental health care in a supportive, compassionate environment.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Mahajan practiced psychiatry at Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital, Battle Creek, Mich., and at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine, Kalamazoo, Mich. She also practiced primary care at Primary Health Centre in Gurdaspur, Punjab, India.

Mahajan graduated from Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences, Jammu and Kashmir, India. She completed a residency in psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine, Kalamazoo, Mich. Mahajan is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association.
