Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified physician assistant Morgan Schultingkemper to its medical staff.
Schultingkemper joins the team at Penn Highlands Gastroenterology, located at 621 South Main Street in DuBois and 1100 Million Dollar Hwy, Suite 2, in St. Marys.
As a gastroenterology specialist, Schultingkemper assists in diagnosing and treating diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and liver. If you’re experiencing a GI condition, Schultingkemper and the team at Penn Highlands provide high-quality and individualized care that’s close to home.
Common treatments and procedures include acute GI tract diseases, chronic GI tract diseases, colorectal cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease and ulcerative colitis.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Schultingkemper practiced at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C., and Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, O.K. Schultingkemper also served as a captain in the United States Army and as a public health officer. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Schultingkemper earned her Master of Health in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, O.K., and her Bachelor of Science at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Pembroke, N.C.
