Welcome Michael Hall, MD
Penn Highlands DuBois welcomes Michael M. Hall, MD, to its medical staff, according to John Sutika, hospital president.
Hall, who is board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine, specializes in addiction medicine and treats patients at Penn Highlands Integrated Recovery Care, located at 145 Hospital Ave., Suite 104, in DuBois.
Working in collaboration with the Clearfield Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission, Hall offers medication-assisted treatment to patients suffering from substance addiction.

Hall comes to Penn Highlands from Pyramid Healthcare in Altoona, where he served as the medical director of the central region. He was previously employed by Penn Highlands Healthcare and he served as the medical director of Discovery House in Clearfield, a subsidiary of Acadia Healthcare. He has also worked as a staff physician for Elk Regional Professional Group in St. Marys and as an assistant clinical professor of family medicine for UPMC Community Medicine, Inc. in Pittsburgh. His experience also includes working as a general partner at Elk County Medical Associates in St. Marys and a member of staff, president of the medical staff and chief of medicine at Elk Regional Health System, currently known as Penn Highlands Elk.
Hall earned his bachelor’s degree of science in chemistry at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y. and his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y. He completed a residency at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he served as chief resident.
He is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
