Welcome Laura Edwards, PA-C

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified physician assistant Laura Edwards, PA-C, to its medical staff.

Laura joins the team at QCare DuBois, located at 621 South Main Street in DuBois.

Laura provides expert care for walk-in patients experiencing minor injuries and illnesses. If you cannot get scheduled to see your primary care provider and your condition is not serious enough to warrant a trip to the emergency room, QCare is a great option.

Common treatments and procedures include back pain, bladder infections, colds, coughs, sinus infections, earaches, fever, flu-like symptoms, minor aches and pains, minor cuts and abrasions, minor eye problems, rashes, sprains, tick and insect bites, and vomiting.

Prior to joining QCare DuBois, Laura gained clinical experience at Still Waters Family Health Services in Clearfield, Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, Laurel Plastic Surgery and Cosmetics in DuBois, O’Bryon Family Medicine in DuBois, Houtzdale Rural Health Center in Houtzdale, DuBois Dermatology and Cosmetics in DuBois, Penn Highlands Clearfield in Clearfield, Penn Highlands Life’s Journey OB/GYN in DuBois and Clearfield Professional Group in Clearfield.

Laura earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Health Science at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.
