Welcome, Kevin Wilson, MD

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes family medicine physician Kevin Wilson to its medical staff.

Dr. Wilson joins the team at Penn Highlands Family Medicine and Pediatric Care, located at 21911 Route 119 in Punxsutawney.

Dr. Wilson is a highly skilled specialist, with more than a decade of experience. He is also a decorated naval physician, serving overseas and at home. Dr. Wilson provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages at a convenient location close to home.

Common treatments and procedures include aches and pains, allergies, asthma, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, major illnesses, minor illnesses and rashes.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Wilson served as the Senior Medical Officer and family medicine physician aboard USS AMERICA in Sasebo, Japan. Additional assignments include staff family physician aboard the USS CARL VINSON, the USNS COMFORT in support of relief missions in Puerto Rico following Hurricanes Irma and Maria and Naval Branch Health Clinic in Groton, Conn.

Dr. Wilson graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, Calif. He completed his residency in family medicine at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in Camp Pendleton, Calif. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
