Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes board-certified orthopedic surgeon Harry H. Dinsmore, MD, and certified physician assistant Kati J. Smith, PA-C, to its medical staff.
Dr. Dinsmore and Kati join the teams at Penn Highlands Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at 1227 Warm Springs Avenue, Suite 201, in Huntingdon and 154 Hospital Drive, Suite 3, in Tyrone.
Dr. Dinsmore is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in sports medicine and hand surgery with more than 20 years of experience. Kati is also a highly skilled healthcare provider with 15 years of experience, including serving as chief physician assistant
Common treatments and procedures include carpal tunnel treatment, hand surgery, joint replacement surgery of knee, hip, shoulder; non-surgical orthopedic care, orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, arthroscopic procedures of shoulder, knee, elbow, ankle; upper extremity neurologic procedures, arthritis of the thumb and fracture care.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Dinsmore practiced at the Geisinger Health System Musculoskeletal Institute in Lewistown. Kati previously practiced at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown.
Dr. Dinsmore graduated from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, W.Va. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va., and his fellowship in orthopaedic hand surgery and sports medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
Kati earned her Bachelor of Science, Physician Assistant, at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport.
