Welcome Joshua Matonak, DMD
Penn Highlands Clearfield welcomes Joshua Matonak, DMD, to the medical staff at the Moshannon Valley Community Medical Building, located at 271 Railroad Street in Philipsburg, according to Mark Norman, interim hospital president and chief operating officer for Penn Highlands Healthcare.
Matonak is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who recently joined the medical staff at PA Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery, LLC, the office of Dr. Jeffrey Rice and Dr. Firas Ali in DuBois. He will provide specialized care to patients with diseases or injuries affecting the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the mouth, jaws and face. He will see patients alongside Rice and Ali in DuBois, St. Marys and Philipsburg in order to provide the most accessible and convenient care to the surrounding communities.
“We are pleased to establish this partnership with Dr. Matonak,” said Norman. “His knowledge and experience will be a tremendous benefit to his patients and they will enjoy the added benefit of having appointments available in Philipsburg.”
Matonak earned his bachelor’s degree at Liberty University in Va. and his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at West Virginia University.
A native of Butler, Matonak recently relocated to DuBois with his wife, Dana, and their sons, Rowan and Luke. He and his family enjoy attending community events and meeting new people.
