Welcome, Jeremy Bowser, CRNP
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Jeremy Bowser to its medical staff.
Bowser joins the teams at QCare DuBois, located at 621 South Main Street in DuBois, and QCare Punxsutawney, located at 551 West Mahoning Street in Punxsutawney.
Bowser has a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care. He is committed to using the expertise he’s gained to treat patients in the region with a high standard of compassionate care.
For medical concerns that aren’t quite an emergency but need to be seen today, QCare Walk-In Clinics offer immediate medical services for flu-like symptoms; fever; vomiting; coughs, colds and sinus problems; earaches; sprains; back pain; rashes; minor eye problems; minor cuts and abrasions; minor aches and pains; bladder infections; tick and insect bites; or animal bites.
Patients can also receive other convenient services, including driver’s license physicals, Work and Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, tetanus shots, suture removal, laboratory testing and X-rays.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Bowser practiced as an acute care nurse practitioner at Apogee Physicians in northwest Pennsylvania and as a flight nurse at STAT MedEvac, part of the Center for Emergency Medicine of Western Pennsylvania. He also practiced as an emergency room registered nurse at Penn State Health Milton S. Hersey Medical Center in Hershey, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh and Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh.
Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Clarion.
