Welcome, Gurvinder Bhardwaj, MD

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes board-certified nephrologist Gurvinder Bhardwaj, MD, to its medical staff.

Dr. Bhardwaj joins the team at Penn Highlands DuBois, located at 100 Hospital Avenue in DuBois.

Dr. Bhardwaj specializes in nephrology, a specialized branch of internal medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the kidneys and urinary system. In addition to treating patients at Penn Highlands DuBois, Dr. Bhardwaj offers telemedicine services to all Penn Highlands hospitals.

Common treatments and procedures include hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and continuous dialysis modalities.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Bhardwaj practiced at Kidney Care of Michiana in Mishawaka, Ind., and Nephrology Associates in Waukesha, Wisc.

Dr. Bhardwaj graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Ill., and completed a residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., and a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Mich.
