Welcome Geraldine Uy, MD

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes emergency medicine physician Geraldine Uy, MD, to its medical staff.

Dr. Uy joins the team at the Emergency Department at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, located at 1163 Country Club Road in Monongahela.

Dr. Uy provides experienced care to patients with serious and life-threatening injuries and illnesses, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and the latest treatments and procedures at Penn Highlands to treat critical needs ranging from stroke and heart attack to injuries following a traumatic accident.

Common treatments and procedures include abdominal emergency care, emergency heart care, emergency stroke care, emergency tests and trauma care.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Uy practiced with University of Pittsburgh Physicians in Monongahela.

Dr. Uy graduated from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency in emergency medicine at Orlando Health in Orlando, Fla. Dr. Uy is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
