Welcome, Emily Emerson, OD
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes optometrist Emily Emerson to its medical staff.
Dr. Emerson joins the teams at the Penn Highlands Eye Center at 807 Turnpike Avenue, Suite 150, in Clearfield, and 529 Sunflower Drive, 2nd floor, in DuBois.
Dr. Emerson is a highly experienced optometrist specializing in ocular disease and contact lenses. She offers primary optometric care with an emphasis in geriatrics, and she is passionate about providing vision and medical care to patients of all ages.
Common treatments and procedures include comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, glaucoma management, macular degeneration management, diabetic eye exams and red eye diagnosis and treatment.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Emerson practiced at Holicki Eye Centers and Optical in Coldwater, Mich. Dr. Emerson has also participated in Volunteers of Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) to provide eye care to impoverished areas in the West Indies and South America.
Dr. Emerson graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. She is a member of the American Optometric Association.
