Welcome Cody Wakefield, CRNP

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Cody Wakefield, CRNP, to its medical staff.

Cody joins the team at Penn Highlands Family Medicine and QCare Clarion at 265 Holiday Inn Road, Route 68, in Clarion.

Cody is a highly skilled provider specializing in family health, internal medicine, pediatrics and women's health. Cody has 15 years of comprehensive nursing experience and provides dedicated, compassionate care to patients of all ages.

Common treatments and procedures include flu-like symptoms; fever; vomiting; coughs, colds, sinus problems; earaches; sprains; back pain; rashes; minor eye problems; minor cuts and abrasions; minor aches and pains; bladder infections; tick and insect bites; asthma care; diabetes care; hypertension/high blood pressure care; immunizations; preventative care and screenings; primary care and animal bites.

Other convenient services include annual/sports physicals, driver’s license physicals, work and Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, tetanus shots, suture removal, laboratory testing and X-rays.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Cody practiced at Titusville Area Hospital in Titusville and Saint Vincent Hospital-Allegheny Health Network in Erie.

Cody earned his Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Clarion and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Edinboro. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Clarion.
