Welcome, Bruno Romeo, MD
Dr. Bruno Romeo has joined the staff of Penn Highlands Lung Center. A long-time Clearfield pulmonary and internal medicine physician, he will see patients in Clearfield, Philipsburg and Punxsutawney.
The PH Lung Center is a part of Penn Highlands Healthcare. It is a physician practice that works with a team of highly skilled pulmonologists, respiratory therapists and other pulmonary experts that provide comprehensive pulmonary care. They diagnose and treat all types of pulmonary conditions, provide a variety of diagnostic tests and perform innovative procedures. Romeo will also see patients for sleep disorders, too.
He can help with the management of complex illnesses including lung cancer, obstructive lung diseases, sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial and occupational lung diseases, pleural effusions, critical care related problems - shock, respiratory failure, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalances, life-threatening drug overdoses, and sleep disorders.
“I have been providing pulmonary and internal medicine care to the Clearfield area for more than 20 years,” Romeo said. “That same great care you have received from me in the past will continue, and I will be able to expand my services.

Romeo is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, N.Y., and University of Rome School of Medicine and Surgery in Rome, Italy. He did his residency at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and an affiliate member of the American College of Chest Physicians.
