Welcome Brian Rose, MD
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes emergency medicine physician Brian Rose, MD, to its medical staff.
Dr. Rose joins the teams in the emergency departments at 401 East Murphy Avenue in Connellsville and 1163 Country Club Road in Monongahela.
With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Rose provides patients with expert care when it matters most, including diagnosing and treating medical conditions or injuries that are either life-threatening or could cause long-term health issues or permanent disabilities.
Common treatments and procedures include symptoms of a heart attack, including chest pain and shortness of breath; symptoms of a stroke, including face droopiness, arm weakness and slurred speech; broken bones that pierce the skin or cause severe pain; difficulty breathing; loss of consciousness; severe abdominal pain; severe allergic reaction; uncontrolled bleeding; sudden, severe headache; and other serious illnesses or injuries.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Rose practiced at Mon Marion Neighborhood Hospital in White Hall, W. Va.; Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W. Va.; Emergency Physicians of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh; USACS Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pittsburgh; and Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica, N.Y.
Dr. Rose graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Beth Israel Medical Center, in New York, N.Y.
