Welcome Ann Colton, CRNP

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Ann Colton, CRNP, to its medical staff.

Ann joins the team at QCare Huntingdon at 7651 Raystown Shopping Center in Huntingdon.

With nearly a decade of nursing experience, Ann provides expert care for patients experiencing minor illnesses and injuries. She is dedicated to getting to know her patients and contributing to Penn Highlands’ commitment to compassionate care.

Common treatments and procedures include back pain, bladder infections, colds, coughs, sinus infections, earaches, fever, flu-like symptoms, minor aches and pains, minor cuts and abrasions, minor eye problems, rashes, sprains, tick and insect bites, and vomiting.

Prior to joining QCare Huntingdon, Ann gained clinical experience at Geisinger Convenient Care in State College, Geisinger Pediatrics in Port Matilda, Geisinger Family Practice in Reedsville, Geisinger Women’s Health in Lewistown, Geisinger Gastroenterology in Port Matilda and Geisinger Pulmonary and Sleep Services in Port Matilda. She also practiced as an emergency room staff nurse and charge nurse at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown.

Ann earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Pennsylvania State University in University Park. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh and her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pennsylvania State University in University Park. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
