Welcome, Alexis Danver, CRNP

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Alexis Danver to its medical staff.

Alexis joins the team at Behavioral Health Services, located at 635 Maple Avenue in DuBois.

Alexis is an experienced specialist in psychiatric and mental health care. Compassion is at the core of Alexis’ clinical practice. She provides comprehensive, holistic care to individuals facing mental health issues in a supportive and understanding manner.

Common treatments and procedures include psychiatric evaluation and screening, assessment, diagnosis, medication management and monitoring, suicide risk assessment and prevention, psychoeducation and psychotherapy.

Alexis has more than seven years of clinical experience in mental health nursing. Prior to her new role as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, she practiced as a registered nurse at Penn Highlands Behavioral Health.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University in State College.
