Penn Highlands Community Nurses Open House
Clearfield Office New Location
Penn Highlands Community Nurses, previously known as Penn Highlands Clearfield Home Health and Hospice, is pleased to announce an open house for its Clearfield office, which is relocating to a new space on the Penn Highlands Clearfield campus.
PHCN is holding the open house meet and greet in conjunction with the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. at the Dr. Samuel J. Waterworth Medical Building, located at 1033 Turnpike Avenue, Suite 100. The Waterworth Building is located on the same side of the street as PH Clearfield next to the Emergency Department entrance.
The event is open to the community. It will feature door prizes, light refreshments and information about volunteer opportunities as well as open interviews for those interested in private duty nursing or skilled nursing career opportunities.
The new office will serves as a Clearfield hub to PHCN administration, nursing staff and volunteers.
PHCN outgrew the previous office location at 440 Front Place, Clearfield. The new office space will better meet the organization’s evolving needs.
Services provided by PHCN include nursing, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutritional therapy, aides, telehealth services, palliative care nursing, hospice nursing, chaplain, volunteers, bereavement, homemaker and personal care services. The system’s home care staff care for more than 1,200 patients or more across the region each day.
