Annual Giving Campaign Begins at Penn Highlands Connellsville

Penn Highlands Healthcare kicked off its Annual Giving Campaign at Penn Highlands Connellsville this week. The campaign focuses on making vital improvements at the Penn Highlands Connellsville Regional Center for Autism to better meet the unique needs of its students both inside and outside the classroom.

“Bryer has not had an easy life. As an 11-year-old boy with autism, going to school was stressful and learning and making friends was a challenge. Two years ago, I switched Bryer to Penn Highlands Connellsville Regional Center for Autism and that all changed,” said Savannah Hilliard, Bryer’s mother. “Bryer loves school and wants to go every day. He is accepted by his classmates and for the first time in his life, he has friends. The staff teaches in ways he has never received before. The communication that our family receives from the school is above and beyond and that is a huge benefit.”

Members of the community can make a gift to the Penn Highlands Connellsville Annual Giving Campaign to help provide the care every child deserves.
