Penn Highlands Elk's Women's Health Office Awarded
Paulette Schreiber, as well as her women’s health office at Penn Highlands Elk, were both recently recognized with national Excellence through Insight awards from HealthStream, Inc. The awards honor their commitment to patient satisfaction.
To qualify, a medical practice must score higher than 75 percent of HealthStream’s clients. A minimum of 100 patients at each practice are surveyed.
“I feel honored to receive both awards, my personal award and the award for our office,” said Schreiber. “They mean so much to me, especially because our scores for the awards come from our patients. They are the reason that we strive for excellence. The are the reason that we try to make a difference in women’s lives, one woman at a time. I couldn’t have received the office award without the help of an excellent staff. Rene Seduski goes above and beyond to keep the office running smoothly, and Loretta Feronti has done a great job with our billing. As a team, we strive to take care of our patients from the moment they schedule an appointment until their bill is taken care of.”
“Paulette has a special understanding of women’s needs,” adds Christine Garner, performance improvement director at Penn Highlands Elk. “She knows the importance of skillful care offered with kindness. That’s what she provides to her patients at every visit. She is completely deserving of this award.”
HealthStream is a Nashville-based company that is contracted by thousands of healthcare facilities across the country to help with workforce training and development. The company’s CEO, Robert Frist, Jr. said, “We applaud the Penn Highlands Elk’s Women Health Clinic’s high-level commitment to excellence in healthcare, and are pleased to recognize their achievement through our presentation of two Excellence through Insight awards.”
