Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes emergency medicine physician Ali Bacharouch, MD, to its medical staff.
Dr. Bacharouch joins the emergency department team at Penn Highlands DuBois at 100 Hospital Avenue in DuBois.
Dr. Bacharouch is an experienced physician who has treated patients from all backgrounds during some of their most challenging moments. His skillset spans critical care, trauma management and general emergency care. From cuts to cardiac arrest, Dr. Bacharouch provides exceptional emergency care to patients throughout the region.
Common treatments and procedures include abdominal emergency care, emergency care, trauma care, stroke care, emergency cardiac care, broken bones, chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, severe allergic reaction, and uncontrolled bleeding.
Dr. Bacharouch graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Mich. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich. He is a fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, Wilderness Medical Society, and a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, American College of Emergency Physicians and American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
