Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Carla McClintock to its medical staff.

Carla joins the team at Penn Highlands Family Medicine, located at 814 Vanderbilt Road in Connellsville.

Carla has three decades of nursing experience and provides patients in Connellsville with comprehensive care for the entire family. Whether you’re due for an annual physical or dealing with a chronic illness, Carla is here for you with experienced care.

Common treatments and procedures include annual sports physicals, asthma care, diabetes care, hypertension/high blood pressure care, immunizations, preventive care and screenings and primary care.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Carla practiced at Matrix Medical Network, Excela Health Gastroenterology, Conn Family Medicine, and as a registered nurse at Excela Health Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant, Excela Health Westmoreland Regional Hospital in Greensburg, Bayada Home Health Nursing and Excela Health Latrobe Area Hospital in Latrobe.

Carla earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Carlow University in Pittsburgh and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
