Welcome Rashmi Mishra, MD

Penn Highlands Clearfield welcomes Rashmi Mishra, MD, to its medical staff, according to Rhonda Halstead, hospital president.

Mishra, who is board certified in internal medicine, specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine, including interventional and advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy. She has joined the team of experts at The Lung Center of Penn Highlands and her offices are located at 531 Hannah St., Suite C in Clearfield and 271 Railroad St. in Philipsburg.

“We are proud to welcome Dr. Mishra to our team at Penn Highlands Clearfield,” said Halstead. “Patients in our community who visit The Lung Center can expect to receive care from a highly-trained physician who is compassionate and kind. She will make a wonderful addition to our medical staff.”

“I am looking forward to meeting the patients in the Clearfield and Philipsburg communities and providing them with expert pulmonary care,” Mishra said.

Mishra earned her medical degree at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, India. She completed an internal medicine residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, both in Bronx, N.Y.

A native of India, Mishra currently resides in DuBois. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading novels and spending time with her husband.

A welcome social will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at PH Clearfield. All employees are invited to attend.
