What to Expect with JOULE™ Laser Skin Treatment

Dr. Rice performs laser treatments to correct sun damage in the Penn Highlands Plastic,
Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery office in DuBois. The laser treatment takes about 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Most patients need only one treatment, although some patients may require more.

After laser therapy, you can return home to rest and will need to avoid direct sunlight while your skin heals, usually within three to four days.
